Lily Moon is back!

Hey guys I'm back!  

Sorry it took me a while.  School always has a lot of homework (especialy 5 grade).  Enough about school!  Summer is just around the corner and I have some things to show you.  Earlier, I got a cast and a foot brace (or whatever you want to call it).

 

 

So here's the story... I as helping my Mom put on the fitted sheets on my bed.  When we were done putting them on, when I was pushing my matress, my hand got caught underneath and my hand bent backwards as it was going in.  A few weeks later, I went to the orthopedic and they took an x-ray.  They found a fracture on my bone and put a cast on me.I have to have the cast on for 2 weeks, which isn't bad at all.  

Here's the story of how I got the foot brace... we were going to a restaurant for dinner and  I was walking beside my Mom. As we were walking across the parking lot, my Mom stepped on my foot and fell.  She stepped on it really hard!  We waited a couple of days to see if the swelling would go down and it didn't.  So last night, I went to urgent care and they took another x-ray and it came back negative.  They sent me home with a foot brace.   I have to have the foot brace on for a few days or until the swelling goes down.  I hope it goes down... wish me luck!
   I also got a different haircut. It's shorter in the back and longer in the front. I love it!

Finished Projects

Hello everybody!  I have some new things to show you.

 

   

This is my finished project!  Now, all I got to do is ship it out.  I have something to show you.

   

Drawings!!!!!  This one is called, The Lonely Desert.  There is a face in the drawing.  The birds are the eyes, the cactus is the nose and the crack is the mouth.

 

This one is called, After the Storm.  Nothing is hidden in this drawing. 

 

Last but not least, The Owl's forest.  There is an owl in the tree.  In this drawing, it's a forest, but people walk through it.

Well, that's about it.  I'll probably have some thing new in a few days.

Hi, I'm Back!

Sorry I didn't get to you sooner, but I have a couple things to talk to you about.  I'm going to 5th grade, I re-pierced my ears, I got a haircut (My hair looks a lot like in the old picture but just a little longer in the front) and I went indoor sky diving at Universal Studios L.A.  I had a blast!!!!  The two hour drive was worth it!  In the video I'm about to show you is the indoor skydiving.  First up is my cousin, next is me, last is my sister, Sophia.  You have to be in a certain position or else the wind will not catch you.  It feels cool to not be on the ground.  It feels like you're flying. 

 

 

Boy that was fun!!!  I recommend it to everyone!

My New Hobby

Hello! 

 Today I'm going to share with you my new hobby.

Embroidery!  I used to be very scared of needles.  Then one day, my Mom asked me to sew buttons.  I tried it and it was actually fun!  Just last week, I borrowed my sister's embroidery book and tried it out.

This was my first attempt.

I learned the weave (straight stitch).

This was an easy one.

The couching stitch was fun but hard.

This one is easier than the couching stitch and just as fun.

This one is my favorite stitch.

I'm working on a special project for a special friend.  I'll show you when I'm done.
